Tucked just off the coast of Posillipo, Gaiola is a hidden gem of Napoli. A protected island within the Parco Sommerso di Gaiola, where the sea glimmers over ancient ruins and time moves a little slower.
This scarf is based on a photo I took while spending an afternoon like a true local- swimming in the clear water, eating a panino on the rocks, and soaking up the sun with friends. We spent the day talking about language, culture, and the little things that make Italy and America feel worlds apart. It was a beautiful, simple moment and one I’ll always hold close.
That memory became this design. Illustrated from that original photo, and printed on soft, lightweight fabric, it features “For Italian Summers Only!” in bold yellow script over a vibrant seaside scene.
